Some type of chemotherapy make it difficult for bone marrow to produce new white blood cells (WBC). There are many types of WBC, one type is neutrophil. When neutrophil count goes down its called neutropenia. Neutrophil help us to protect us from infection.
Self care tips:

Eat and drink home made non spicy food, steaming-hot foods, fruits with thick skin, hot coffeeCheck for temperature.
Avoid and tea and water brought to a rolling boil for 1 minute mainly in rainy season.

–Keep your mouth clean, do brush morning and night
–Repeat mouthwash after every meal
–Clean the genital area after every time you go to toilet
–Do double flush of toilet for 48 hours after chemotherapy administration
–Apply proper skin moisturizing lotion
–Wear clean comfortable dress
Administer GCSF/ PEG GCSF injection if your doctor prescribes.
Consult to your doctor or come to emergency if you have temperature more than 100.4℃
